JDM: Japanese Drift Master Release date

You may be worrying that a game as stunning as this may still be in development and have a longer release date. Well, don’t worry, that couldn’t be further from the truth! JDM: Japanese Drift Masters release date is May 21, meaning we are just under two weeks away from players being able to get their hands on the game. At the time of writing this article, there is no planned early access option, meaning everyone will be getting their hands on the game at the same time on May 21.

Players not from New Zealand could technically get it early through the location change, but there’s still no true early access to the game. There was a demo for the game that ran many months back, but as of right now, there is no option for players to try out a playable demo on the game’s Steam landing page.

What platforms?

Unfortunately for those on console who think this game looks amazing, you’re not going to be able to get the chance to play it, sadly. This game is strictly coming out on the PC, and to be honest, if you’re looking at the gameplay alone, you can see why. There is a more arcade feel in terms of the gameplay, but the graphics match any of the modern racing games you see today. And while it’s going to be a PC only racing game, this is going to sell like crazy.

If you haven’t been keeping up with the world of social media and short-form content, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of videos of gamers using their steering wheel setup to create drifting content. With this game being a Japanese drifting game, the content creators are going to have a field day with this game.

The details

Drifting games can be intimidating, so it’s understandable if you’re a little hesitant about picking this game up.
