It’s a game that drops you right in the middle of the Fortnite map. You’re not trying to hunt out loot and enemy players though. Instead, you’re essentially dropped in a snapshot of the map, kind of like you’re on Google Maps street view. Without any extra information, you’ve got to figure out just where you are out of the entire map.

Normal Geogussr is a difficult puzzle, tracking down a location based on few clues. Players don’t even know what continent they’re normally in. It’s even become its own esports game. However, Fortnite GeoGuessr is focused on the world of Battle Royale.

You can play GeoGuessr Fortnite using all of the maps that the game has had. There’s Chapter 2, 3, even the OG map. You can break it down by Season or just zero in on your favorite period of Fortnite where you knew the map back to front. This is how you can play Fortnite GeoGuessr and how it all works.

You don’t have to be one of the best Fortnite players, just know the map well enough.
In Fortnite GeoGuessr, you’ll be dropped in a random spot in the world of Fortnite. You’ll have to figure out where you are from context clues. Players also need good knowledge of POIs and maps across all seasons if they want to figure out where in Fortnite GeoGuessr you are. Sometimes, it’s pretty hard when you’re dropped in a random spot without much around. Other times though, you might end up simply dropping into Tilted and have an easy round.
Geoguessr is a test of skill for map knowledge, but also problem solving. Even if you don’t know where you are, the skill kind of comes from narrowing it down through any clues on screen.
The GeoGuessr game is a bit different from just finding an LTM. The game really took off as a standalone game outside of Fortnite you could play. However, there are some in-game maps that offer the same style of game now.

If you’re dropped down right in view of Mega City, it’s not going to be too hard to figure it out! Although, much more often you’re in the center of an area of grass and trees, having to scan every clue in the environment to figure out your location.
While you do get points, it’s not quite like playing normal Fortnite. There’s no Fortnite ranks to climb up or anything. It’s a fun game to play for bragging rights with a team between rounds though.
Remember that you can take the Battle Royale theme even further, the game has a mode where you can compete against thousands of other players to try and win.
The Fortnite GeoGuessr is a lot of fun, but where can you actually play it? There’s more than one provider for basically the same game. One of the better ones is Where in Fortnite. This is a GeoGuessr with tons of variety.
Playing this game, you can choose any specific season or chapter to play in! It lets you stick to the seasons or the old maps that you preferred. Or you can quiz yourself on some of the lesser populated maps. The Chapter 1 Season 1 map has very few points of interest. Despite being so iconic, that might be one of the most fun and challenging ways to play the Fortnite GeoGuessr. Although, with Chapter 2 coming back soon that map might see a resurgence in popularity too.

The new UnrealFN tools for map creators have opened up what’s possible in Fortnite. Some map creators have even tried to approximate the Fortnite Geoguessr game. It isn’t as expansive as the outside versions since the memory limit makes map games like this difficult. These are some Fortnite GeoGuessr map codes that come closest though.
If you’re looking for a full experience, the outside games are still superior. Some creators have made valiant efforts to port it to Fortnite. However, it might be tricky until Epic loosens up restrictions on Creative games utilizing past Fortnite maps.
Fortnite GeoGuessr is fun but it can be tricky. If you want to delve into the game and show off your expert map knowledge for Fortnite Battle Royale there are some tips to think about when you’re playing.
Your first step in any game is to look around for a major landmark. This can make the game considerably quicker. Look for points of interest then POIs. You should be able to see at least one from most of the map.
Even once you’ve spotted a POIs, there’s the challenge of figuring out which direction you are from it. Use other landmarks to figure out if you’re south, east, west, or north from the landmark. From there, you can really start to pin things down.
More recent Fortnite seasons have large structures like mountains or Mega City on them. These are perfect for playing Fortnite GeoGuessr! In pretty much any location, you’ll be able to see something that’s big enough to view on the entire island. This can be a clue even on a tougher season for the Fortnite GeoGuessr.
If you’re still struggling to finish rounds of Fortnite GeoGuessr, consider switching the game. Later, maps have more POIs and are easier to orientate yourself on. Unless you spent tons of time playing in Chapter 1’s early days, the later seasons are definitely easier for this game.
Fortnite gets new maps added every Chapter, so keep an eye on Fortnite news. When a new season hits, they’ll be new spots to find in the Fortnite GeoGuessr.
