Valve adds exclusive Souvenir for BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 playoffs

Valve announced on May 29 a unique souvenir exclusively for the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 playoffs. This new cosmetic is called Souvenir Highlight Package, which will allow the Austin Major highlights to be captured and saved in weapons.

Here’s what Valve said via last night’s blog post:

Available exclusively for playoff stage matches, Souvenir Highlight Packages contain a souvenir weapon with an attached charm that features a video highlight from the playoff map you selected.

Your weapon’s description will include information about the highlight, and you can view the attached clip in your CS2 inventory, in Steam, or while spectating a teammate in-match.

The community celebrated the Souvenir Highlight Packages as Valve decided to go beyond the traditional Major stickers and Pick’Em trophy. When Valve added weapon charms to CS2 last year via the Armory Update, many fans thought that the developer would use them at the Major to add team or even player signature charms.

But, turns out that Valve went the extra mile and created something really unique for the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.

It’s very simple. To obtain a Souvenir Highlight Package, you must purchase the BLAST.tv Austin Major Viewer pass and take part in the Pick’Em challenge. Then you hold on to your Souvenir Tokens till the playoffs and choose a playoff match.

Or, if you want to spend a bit more money, you can just buy the Viewer Pass that comes with three Souvenir Tokens already. This way, you’ll guarantee at least three Souvenir Highlight Packages once the playoffs start.

The BLAST.tv Austin Major playoffs will run from June 19 to 22, featuring the top eight teams in the competition. We still have a long way to go before reaching that point, as this Major now features 32 teams and includes three different stages before the playoffs.
