Nicoodoz sets CS2 record with historic performance vs. Complexity at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025

OG’s Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi has had the best individual performance a pro player has ever had in a CS2 match on a big LAN. The Dane put on a true masterclass against Complexity at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, having racked up a 33-6 K/D, 175 ADR, a KDR of 5.55.

Nicoodoz was pretty much the reason why OG were able to steamroll Complexity on Ancient by 13-3. He found multikills in almost every single round, with either pistols or rifles, and finished with more frags than almost all his teammates combined.

Curiously, he didn’t have to use the AWP to get any of the kills, proving once again that he should definitely stick to being a hybrid AWPer.

This historic performance made nicoodoz get a baffling 3.08 HLTV rating, which will be very hard for anyone to top off nowadays as the esports scene is packed with talented teams. Here’s what nicoodoz said in an interview after the match:

It feels really great, I’m honestly very surprised, but I guess I was just really in the zone. I think I was feeling pretty calm before the game, we had some solid prep and knew what we had to do. My teammates also helped set up me really good, which makes it easier to perform.

While OG were only slightly ahead of Complexity when it came to BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 odds, they absolutely dismantled the North American team because of nicoodoz’s heroics.

Nicoodoz started the series with a quick triple kill in the first pistol, and he never looked back. The Dane bailed OG out of many rounds and made Complexity look silly, even though they’re one of the stronger teams in this Stage.

The only other performance that comes close to what nicoodoz accomplished is the famous Georgiy “WorldEdit” Yaskin’s pop-off at ELEAGUE Season 1 in 2016 vs. Echo Fox. The Russian AWPer had a 37-6 K/D, which also resulted in a 3.08 HLTV rating.

Nicodooz has always been a talented player, but never stuck around too much on teams. In fact, the BLAST.tv Austin Major is his sixth Major, and OG are the fourth team he’s attending a Major with.

The victory over Complexity put OG in the 1-0 pool of the BLAST.tv Austin Major Stage 1, so now they only need two more wins to advance to Stage 2. Complexity and OG will return to the server later today for Round 2.
