BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 talent announced
BLAST revealed on May 30 the full talent lineup for the official English broadcast of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
The list features 18 people ranging from casters, analysts, desk hosts and interviewers, arena hosts, and a content reporter.
Most of the names regularly work on big CS2 events, but two names in particular caught the attention of fans. One is the American caster and host Mike “DarfMike” Winnick as he’ll get to work in his first Counter-Strike Major right at a home soil event. The other one is the analyst Danny “mahone” Hsieh. The Canadian had been absent from big events since 2023, and will reprise his “weatherman” role, in which he offers in-depth tactical insight in special segments.

Aside from them, the fact that Jason “moses” O’Toole will be an analyst and not a caster, also caught the attention of fans as he’s casting more than analyzing games these days.
This Major in particular will require a lot from the talent crew as it will be the first Major with 32 teams and one additional group stage.
Here’s the official talent lineup for the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025’s official English broadcast:
- Alex “Machine” Richardson & Chad “SPUNJ” Burchill – casters
- Conner “Scrawny” Girvan & Mohan “launders” Govindasamy – casters
- Harry “JustHarry” Russell & Hugo “Hugo” Byron – casters
- Anders “Anders” Blume & Daniel “ddk” Kapadia – casters

Notable absences in the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 talent list

While the list comprises most of the broadcast talent that works in big CS2 events, there are a few names missing.
One is the Danish analyst and former pro CS:GO player Lucas “Bubzkji” Andersen. He worked in plenty of BLAST events last year, but hasn’t been chosen for the Major or any other big tournament this year.
The other one is the Indian analyst Sudhen “Bleh” Wahengbam, who worked in lots of prestigious CS2 events this year and worked in plenty of Majors before. However, Bleh has never worked for BLAST, so that’s probably why he wasn’t hired for the Austin Major.
Other notable absences are the Serbian analysts Janko “YNk” Paunović and Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović.
This goes to show how stacked CS2 esports is when it comes to casters, analysts, and hosts. The fans are truly blessed to have so many talented people bringing the action for them that tournament organizers have the luxury to cherry-pick.
The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 will run from June 3 to 22. The Major starts with three Swiss system stages before moving to a single-elimination playoff bracket.
