Round 4

Complexity (1.53) vs. TYLOO (2.34)
- Despite playing with Paytyn “junior” Johnson, an emergency substitute AWPer for Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli, it would be truly shocking if Complexity lost to TYLOO.
- While TYLOO can catch teams off guard with some risky plays, they should have plenty of difficulties against Complexity because the North Americans are quite a strategic team.
- Prediction: Complexity win
Imperial (1.38) vs. Legacy (2.8)
- This is one of the most unpredictable matches of Stage 4, despite Imperial being a better team than Legacy. The rivalry element can’t be ignored here.
- Besides that, Legacy have no business in even being at the Major as they were an emergency replacement for BESTIA. This could tilt the odds in favor of Legacy as they have less pressure on their shoulders.
- However, Imperial are far ahead of Legacy in head-to-head matches, having won three series versus Legacy since October 2024.
- Prediction: Imperial win
OG (1.4) vs. NRG (2.72)
- OG’s hybrid AWPer Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi set a new CS2 record after destroying Complexity in the debut, and he played very well once again against TYLOO on Day 2. It would be unwise to bet against a team that has someone performing so well.
- NRG isn’t a bad team by any means, but it’s hard to imagine one of their players hard-carrying as much as nicoodoz. And, NRG are not so used to facing European squads, having spent most of the year in North America.
- Prediction: OG win
Chinggis Warriors (3.1) vs. Lynn Vision (1.32)
- Chinggis Warriors eliminated Fluxo from the Major on Round 3, but it almost feels that they have no business being alive in the tournament, as the Brazilians were completely tilted in the decisive map.
- Lynn Vision, on the other hand, pushed Wildcard to their limit in Round 2, and they almost defeated Nemiga in Round 3 before collapsing. Lynn Vision are also ahead of Chinggis Warriors in head-to-head duels, having beaten them twice this year.
- Prediction: Lynn Vision win
BetBoom (1.43) vs. Wildcard (2.62)
- Wildcard played a stinker of a series against B8, but they remain one of the best teams left in Stage 1.
- BetBoom is not too far behind, which makes this matchup very interesting. However, Sergey “Ax1Le” Rykhtorov is far from performing as well as he can, so they have one less player to tilt the odds in their favor.
- We also have to take the home factor in consideration, and Wildcard proved in the last Major that they’re good enough to survive the first Stage.
- Prediction: Wildcard win
FlyQuest (1.61) vs. Nemiga (2.18)
- FlyQuest gave HEROIC a run for their money in Round 3, so they’re a team to mess with in Stage 1.
- Nemiga may have more raw firepower, but their players have literally zero experience in Majors aside from this one, whereas FlyQuest qualified for almost all Majors in recent years.
- Prediction: FlyQuest win
